Professor Jean-Pierre Colinge

Jean-Pierre Colinge has worked in different research institutions such as the Hewlett-Packard Research Labs and IMEC. He was full professor the University of Louvain, the University of California and the Tyndall Institute and Associate Professor at the National Taiwan University. From 2012 to 2017 he was a director in the Chief Technology Office of TSMC. He is now Senior Scientist at CEA-LETI.

He has published over 420 scientific papers and four books on the field of Silicon-on-Insulator technology, multigate FETs and nanowire transistors as well as two books on semiconductor device physics, and is holding 165 US patents.

He is an IEEE Fellow, a TSMC Fellow and he received the IEEE Andrew Grove Award in 2012 for his contributions to silicon-on-insulator technology.
